logo_TRAILooks Like everyone is amused with the news that Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) is planning to make per second billing option mandatory. JS Sarma, Chairman, Trai said, “We are looking at the possibility of making service providers offer to consumers per second pulse as a mandatory option to be provided. Hopefully, in a month or a month-and-a-half we might like to come out with a consultation paper.”

On outside it looks cool plan with 1 paise per second that is 10 seconds you call you pay 10 paise. 30 seconds you call you pay 30 paise ….

But the fact is most of us enjoy 30 paise per call.. (i got that plan) and the Mobile service provider actually gives me 1750 calls free (1 call billed at 1 minute)

Now if it is going to be 1 paise per second it will turn out to be 60 paise per minute for me. and i dont know how they will calculate the 1750 free calls i have every month.

And i see a very good chance of the charge hike in near future. when the LifeLong prepaids were started they promised we can keep the sim alive at a recharge of Rs 10 every 6 months .. and now the rate is Rs 200 every 6 months to keep you LifeLong Prepaid sim alive … that is a hike of 2000% just in a span of 2 years…

Even a slight hike in per second billing ie f they make it 2 paise per second that will just make the cost of calling double than what is existing now. means you lose your money more than what you may spend for a per minute plan…

I don’t make a phone call just for a 20 seconds. most of the calls range more than 30 seconds…,very rarely i stop a call within 20 seconds. …. and i have observed the same for 99% of my friends..

Friends there is a hidden ghost behind the Per second Billing. please don’t accept it

ഡാ ചന്ദ്രാ നീ എന്തോനു കരുതിയത്‌ ?. നീ വിചാരിച്ചാല്‍ എല്ലാ കാലത്തും ഇങ്ങനെ ഒളിവില്‍ കഴിയാമെന്നാ ??
തെറ്റിയഡൈ നിനക്ക് തെറ്റി നമ്മുടെ മാധവന്‍ അണ്ണന്‍ നിന്റെ കള്ളകളികള്‍ കണ്ടു പിടിച്ചടി . നീയാണ് ഭുമിയില്‍ നിന്നും വെള്ളം മുഴുവന്‍ ഊറ്റണ അലവലാതി ഷാജി അല്ലെടാ കള്ളാ . എന്നിട്ട് നീ ഹൈഡ്രനെയും ഓക്സിജനെയും ഡൈവോര്‍സ് ചെയ്യിച്ചു ഇത്രേം കാലം ഒളിപ്പിച്ചു വച്ച് അല്ലെടാ കശ്മലാ .. ഇനി അതൊന്നും നടക്കില മോനെ നടക്കില്ല.
മാധവനെ തോല്പ്പിച്ചവരുണ്ട് പലരും പലവട്ടം പാലരിവട്ടതുവെച്ചു . ആര്യബട്ടക്ക് നഖം വെട്ടി കൊടുക്കാമെനു പറഞ്ഞു അമേരിക്ക എന്നെ തോല്‍പ്പിച്ചു , പിന്നെ പി.എസ്.എല്‍.വി. ക്ക് പെട്രോള്‍ അടിച്ചു തരാമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു റഷ്യ എന്നെ തോല്‍‌പിച്ച് . എന്നിട്ടും തോല്‍വികള്‍ ഏറ്റു വാങ്ങാന്‍ മാധവന്തെ ജന്മം ഇനിയും ബാകി . തോല്കില്ല ചന്ദ്രാ ഇനി മാധവന്‍ തോല്കില്ല കാരണം മാധവന് യാനമുണ്ട് ചന്ദ്രയാനം . അമേരികക്കും മമ്മധിക്കകും മുമ്പേ നമ്മുടെ യാനം വെള്ളം കണ്ടു പിടിച്ചു. പണ്ട് നീ ഡൈവോര്‍സ് ചെയ്യിച്ചു ഒളിപ്പിച്ച ഹൈഡ്രനെയും ഓക്സിജനെയും വീണ്ടും കൂടി യോജിപ്പിച്ച് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ അതെ വെള്ളം . ഇനി നടക്കില്ലട മോനെ നടക്കില്ല നിന്‍റെ കള്ള കളികള്‍ .
ഈ മാധവനെ പറ്റി നീ എന്താ വിചാരിച്ചത് ?
മാധവന്‍ എന്ന പേര് മാറ്റി M A ധവാന്‍ എന്നാക്കിയവന്‍ മാധവന്‍. അത് ഒന്നും കൂടി സ്റ്റൈല്‍ ആകി മാറ്റി മാടി എന്നാക്കിയവന്‍ മാധവന്‍.

ചന്ദ്രനില്‍ നമ്മള്‍ തട്ടുകട തുടങ്ങിയെന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ എന്തൊക്കെയായിരുന്നു കളിയാകല്‍ . ഇപ്പൊ എങ്ങനുണ്ട് . ഇനിയും തെളിയിക്കും ചന്ദ്രനില്‍ വെള്ളം മാത്രമല്ല ഐസും സോഡയും ബ്രാണ്ടിയും ഉണ്ടെന്നു .

ഓസ്ത്രേലിയയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യാക്കാര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ദിവസേന ആക്രമണങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നു.  പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്  കാരണം ഒന്നും ഇല്ല എന്നാണു അവിടുള്ള ഇന്ത്യാക്കാര്‍ പറയുന്നത്.  അതെന്തു കുന്തമെങ്ങിലും ആവട്ടെ. നമ്മള്‍ ആ രാജ്യത്തേക്ക് പോവാത്തത്‌ കാരണം അവടെ നടക്കുന്നത് എന്താണെന്ന്  അറിഞ്ഞൂടാ.  പക്ഷെ നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടില്‍ നമ്മള്‍ കാണിക്കുനത് കണ്ടാല്‍ തോന്നും ഓസ്ത്രേലിയയില്‍  രണ്ടെണ്ണം കിട്ടണത് വെറുതെ ആയിരികില്ല എന്ന് ..
അതും കോമണ്‍വെല്‍ത്ത്‌  ഗെയിംസ്  നടക്കാനിരിക്കെ ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ കാണിച്ചു കൂട്ടണത് കണ്ടാല്‍. ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രിക്ക് അവസാനം  പറയേണ്ടി വന്നു എല്ലാവരും സ്വയം നന്നാവണം എന്ന്  .

ഒരു ടി വി ചാനെല്‍ ഇന്നലെ കാണിച്ച ദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടാല്‍ ഓസ്ത്രേലിയക്കാര്‍ അല്ല മിക്കവാറും ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍ ആദിവാസികള്‍ വരെ തള്ളി പോകും.

ഇതൊക്കെ വെച്ച് നോക്കുമ്പോ ചൈന എന്ത് ഭേദം. എന്ത് നീറ്റ്‌ ആയിട്ടാ അവര്‍ ഒളിമ്പിക്സ് നടത്തിയത്.   ഇവിടെ നടക്കണത്‌ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ കോമണ്‍ വാള് വെപ്പ് ഗെയിംസ് ആണ് നടക്കാന്‍ പോണതെന്നു തോന്നും

സങ്കടകരമായ സംഗതി അതല്ല … ചെയ്യുന്നത്  തെറ്റാണു എന്ന് ബോധ്യം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും അത് തിരുത്താന്‍ ദുരഭിമാനം മൂലം നമ്മള്‍ തയ്യാറാകുന്നില്ല എന്നതാണ് … പട്ടീടെ വാല് പന്തീരാണ്ട് കൊല്ലം കൊഴലില്‍ ഇട്ടാലും കാര്യമില്ല എന്ന ലൈന്‍

Everyone has been talking about Malayalam Mega Star Mammootty’s blog.  i too had checked it earlier..

Today i just thought i would check the website of mammootty.  the site address is www.mammootty.com.   i’m a hardcore firefox fan and always use firefox.  Firefox has a great service reporting malware sites .  and to my surprise while i tried to access the website of mammootty i got warning from firefox of a possible malware attack site.

Mammootty created lots of news with his blog (with just one post), But i request him to check his website and please update and maintain it properly.  Google removes such malware sites  if the site is not cleared of the possible malware. they give some time before removing the sites from their database.   Being removed from google might not harm him any way but surely leaves a bad mark in the internet searches.  The world is becoming more connected day by day and such a bad mark might not be healty for a Mega star.

To Mammootty, if you are reading this, just one request : ” Sir, Please update Your Site “

Mammootty created lots of news with his blog (with just one post), But i request him to check his website and please update and maintain it properly.  Google removes such malware sites  if the site is not cleared of the possible malware. they give some time before removing the sites from their database.   Being removed from google might not harm him any way but surely leaves a bad mark in the internet searches.  The world is becoming more connected day by day and such a bad mark might not be healty for a Mega star.

It was really a shocker to hear the news of  Tax Fraud the Satyam chairman  and CEO, B Ramalinga Raju, admitted today.  The Impact of this is expected to very vast and may even be a retarding force in the growth of Indian IT Sector.  Considering the Financial crisis this was the worst time this Fraud could have come out.

The Government should take steps to ensure that No Fraud like this will ever take place even in Private sector. the Laws of the country needs to be tightened and executed efficiently to avoid such frauds again. Strong action should be taken against Raju so that it will be a lesson to rest of the country

As Raju himself said “It was like riding a tiger, not knowing how to get off without being eaten” Now he has got down of the tiger and is being eaten. How hard the bites can be thats the question.

Lets hope we will not have to hear such a Worse news in future.

British Biased channel :: Biased BBC !!!

It May sound strange but i feel at BBC they are little biased. The BBC dont describe the attack on mumbai (26/11) as just terrorist attacks. They call theTerrorists as just GunMen.

The can call the London bombings as a terrorist attack but cant call mumbai attack as terrorist attack.    What the hell stops them from describing the mumbai attack as terrorist attack.  Are they(BBC) playing a Pakistani supporter role even after  UK Prime minister and US President says there is eveidence against pakistan. ?

I Request all Indians to boycott the BBC Channel

The National Informatics Centre has copmeup with an online petition system for public

The URL to the online  Grievence handling system is  http://eparathi.kerala.nic.in/

The above URL works for the state of kerala..  i’m not sure if such  URL’s exist for the rest of the states in India. If you can find them please add it as comment to this Post

This is a web based system for handling the Public Grievances. ePARATHI is the acronym for Petition Accept, Redress and Acknowledge Through Internet. Filing of petition and action entry on the petitions are both happening simultaneously in this system. Thus ePARATHI provides the latest status on the actions taken on a petition.
Any person who needs to submit a Petition to the Government can access the ePARATHI from any Internet location. They are the Public users of this system. Public can also view the action taken on the petition at any time.

Registered users are the officers and staff authorized for handling the petitions. Each user will have a Login-Id and password to enter this system. The users are created by the administrator of the system. The actions taken by these users on the petition will be immediately available for the petitioner.

ePARATHI is basically, a system for handling the Public Grievances received at the District Collectorates. The Public Grievance Cell at the Collectorates forwards the petitions to the related officers in their district. So the PG Cell can handle the petition only for their district.

I Hope Every citizen makes use of this online tool for filing petitions. and i hope this system works properly.
