It has been a long wait for the country from which the game originated.Â England’s long wait for a world title in Cricket has at last full filled.Â Â T20 World Cup 2010 is won by the England Team.Â It was superior performance from the English team right from the beginning of the tournament and they never lost a game.Â Their bowling fielding and batting were at its peak in the tournament. They showed decent disciplined and professional approach to T20 game.Â Collingwood lead the team from the front and his body language in the field was of a champion.Â Pieterson proved his abilities with the bat and the bowlers and batsmen worked as a unit.Â Â It was a fantastic display of team work from the England team through out the tournament.

The Way England bowlers kept the Aussies batsmen thinking in the finals was an example of how good the English bowling was.Â 47/4 in first 10 overs was probably the worst Aussies can do.Â in the chase Craig Kieswetter was awesome with the bat and Pieterson gave him good company and eventually Collingwood hit the winning run

if anyone has a question who is the best cricketer in the history … i have the answer It is None other than SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR .

The 200 Not Out creates the New chapter for cricket lovers all round the world. In Simple Words it was simply awesome.

A big standup salute to the genius who made a new chapter in the history book.. a chapter in which history writes about how Sachin made writes history.

As a kid all i knew about cricket was if sachin is there India will win.. As i grew up and learned the rest of cricket i felt i’m really fortunate to be in this era. Now as a youth i’ve got my biggest dream to meet Sachin Tendulkar in real life . and still i know for India Cricket Means Tendulkar ..

He is not just a genius on field but off field he is one of the best Indian Citizen you will ever find. a true gentle man as everyone calls him. For India He is the youth Icon for Past 21 years. whenever i have start saying about Sachin Tendulkar my mom who never sits and watches cricket makes the comment.. Learn From Sachin. She never meant cricket but his gentleman-ism. I feel thats the biggest success about sachin tendulkar. For many elder ladies like my mom he is still an innocent teenage boy who plays cricket wonderfully. My Aunt still switches of Cricket match on TV when Sachin loses wicket. so much they still believes in the master batsman

Edappally Sevens Football Tournament

Humble Sports Club (HSC) Edappally is organizing a SEVENS FOOTBALL Tournament. The Tournament Will be played at the Edappally High School Ground (Near the Modern Bread factory Edappally ) on January 10, 17 and 24th. A Total of 16 teams will be playing for the Trophy

The Prize details are as follows

Sehwag does it again!!

I remember reading an article in a newspaper (dont remember exactly if it was indian express or The hindu)Â in which quoted Steve Waugh (If I remember right) commenting Virender sehwag would be short lived in international cricket. It was early days of sehwag’s career and he had become the crowd favorite with the boundaries flowing of his bat.Â The comment above was made when some ad agency consulted the commenter for advice on making an ad deal with sehwag. Sehwag was a the blaster for Indian ODI team then..Â little did everyone knew he is going to be one of the ever best test batsmen in the history of the game.Â No One actually predicted a future for Sehwag in Test Arena. But Looking back History teaches everyone guessed absolutely wrong.

There was a time in Indian Cricket when Indian Batsmen found it hard to score a double centuary. Â Dravid, Sachin etcÂ scored double centuries but Sunil Gavaskar’s decade old record of 236 was always intact.Â Then came Laxman’s 281 that revolutionized Fate of Indian in Test Cricket.Â Then came a flurry of huge scores from the Indian Batsmen.Â But Still a Triple Century was missing.Â Mr Demolisher Sehwag was the god’s choice to be India’s First Triple Century makerÂ and rest is history. First against Pakistan at Multan and second against South Africa Last year

In the Second test match against Srilanka when sehwag was out for 131 it was the first time in last six years that he got out under 150 after scoring a century.Â Doesn’t that sound awesome?

Sehwag Became the 2nd fastest double century maker in test Cricket. Do any of you remember the conditions under which Nathan Astle made the fastest ever double century? with an injured Chris Cairns on other side and a great last wicket blast.Â Surely ifÂ sehwag was under such a circumstance i bet it would be the bowler’s biggest nightmare ever.Â Â weeks before that Gilchrist had struck the fastest ever double century which everyone talked about with huge surprise. Check now. Gilli is not in the Top 5 fastest double century makers. but you will spot Sehwag 3 times in the top five.

And Now today he has become the Indian batsman with maximum number of 200+ scores. He also bagged the top 3 scores by Indian batsmen in test cricket.Â Only Bradman is there above him in the list of Maximum double century makers and he jointly holds record for maximum 300+ scores. 16 more Runs tomorrow and Sehwag will again rewrite History books ; scoring above Sir Donald Bradman and Brian Lara.

ഓസ്ത്രേലിയയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യാക്കാര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ദിവസേന ആക്രമണങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നു. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് കാരണം ഒന്നും ഇല്ല എന്നാണു അവിടുള്ള ഇന്ത്യാക്കാര്‍ പറയുന്നത്. അതെന്തു കുന്തമെങ്ങിലും ആവട്ടെ. നമ്മള്‍ ആ രാജ്യത്തേക്ക് പോവാത്തത്‌ കാരണം അവടെ നടക്കുന്നത് എന്താണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞൂടാ. പക്ഷെ നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടില്‍ നമ്മള്‍ കാണിക്കുനത് കണ്ടാല്‍ തോന്നും ഓസ്ത്രേലിയയില്‍ രണ്ടെണ്ണം കിട്ടണത് വെറുതെ ആയിരികില്ല എന്ന് ..

Old Is Gold

Yesterdays Cricket Match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders once again prooved the Old is Still Gold. The Whole Of IPL2 is seeing the top class performance from the Elder players rather than younger player. Talking about Twenty-20 everyone expected the Likes of yuvaraj, sehwag, etc to fire rather than the old master . But the first phase is prooving it the other way. Hayden, Dravid, Sachin, Jayasurya, Ganguly, Gilchrist, Gibbs, Shanewarne, Kumble, vettori, Muralitharan etc prooved their worth to play the T20 matches.

The Talent and Experience is more than anything else in any field not just Cricket field. That is why The proverb says OLD IS GOLD. and “all those glitters might not be gold” you have to proove you are a gold. sachin and the above gang has prooved it through years of their presence in international arena. I hope they carry on.

IPL 2 is getting tougher and tighter. I dont think a fighter of the kind of shane warne will let his team go down easily. and Young brains like Dhoni desprate to prove their captaincy and talent will make the matches more interesting.(at least i hope so).

Stunning victory for India in twenty 20

Just got up after seeing INDIA win an amazing twenty 20 cricket match against srilanka. the match almost slipped away from india, but the pathan brothers had different plans. A great 8th wicket partnership of 59 from just 25 balls under lots of pressure.. that was truely incredible.

i’m really proud to see india even after losing 7 wickets was able to chase down the big target. but top order collapse must be mended seriously. we saw a collapse in the t20 match against australia . with focus on the t20 world championship soon coming up. we should correct the issues with the top order collapse otherwise it would be dangerous..

once again congrats to irfan pathan and yusuf pathan for their valiant effort

INDIA at rank 2 in icc odi rankings

Yesterdays Newzealand Australia ODI was followed more keenly than the 4th odi between India and srilanka.

Reason is simple. if Australia loses the match. they falls to 3rd place and India becomes No. 2 in rakings. and exactly that happened. thanks to Newzealanders.

Now if India wins the 5th odi aginst srilanka. dream it dude. india are going to be on rank 1.

Lets all wish the team India all the very best to win the 5th odi against srilanka and reach top rank for the very first time. Dhoni and men deserves to be No. 1.

Its great that England returned to India despite the Mumbai Terrorist Attacks on 26/11.

This test match series will Tell the world that India is safe. Once the cricket Players Return after Their Successfull tour, I’m sure that will create a secure feelign in the minds of foreign tourists who are feared after the 26/11.

You can argue that English cricketers are back because india gave them the top class security and this might not be possiblefor all who visits India. But the fact is successfull tour of india by England team can give a moral secure feelign to forieng and domestic travellers.

Cricket is going to overtake the fear feeling that terrorists created in mind of every indian
Lets all thank Kevin Pieterson and gang for their decision to return to India

Indian Cricket team Won the 2nd ODI and leveled the series against srilanka.. another great performance from zaheer khan.. Team India could have done better..

Was it the over confidence that lead to defeat of akhil kumar in the quarter finals of Olympics boxing?? I felt like that. Jitender Kumar’s defeat was another sad story . Anju bobby George really disappointed everyone.

wah Sehwag wah!!! great performance from the Indian Opener.201 notout !!! Once again he proved how valuable he is to the indian cricket team…

India got nothing (atleast till the moment ) else to talk about in this test series.

The future of this test will be determined by indian bowlers.. if they can strike early and get the srilankans out within 350 then india got a chance or better forget the series.
sachin needed just 172 runs at the begining of this series to become the highest run getter in test matches… now my simple question is will we have to wait till the next home test series to see sachin reach that record????

The Trio is a complete failure in 3 consecutive innings.. and most surprising decision in this match was Laxman wasnt send at No 3.. I agree Dravid is a one of the best players at no 3 but surely the situation demanded Laxman, not dravid.

Lets hope kumble adn team can give it back to the lankans with the ball..

For a Long time there is only one answer to the question Who is the players against spin bowling.. the answer was india..

The recent performance of Indian cricket team show they are forgetting what they knew the best. They are falling like anything against spin attack. its easy to understand a team of youngsters losing final match of asia cup.But what happened today???? Indian lost against spin!!!! when the greats of sachin tendulkar, rahul dravid, sourav ganguly, laxman etc fail against spin (yeah laxman managed something in first innings) then we have to give it a think… i doubt if the Indian team is still practicing to play against pace attack. dont know what happened to harbajan’s and kumble’s spin. when the srilankans batted the pitch looked like a great batting pitch and most of us thought the match will be a draw. but when the srilankans bowled the pitch suddenly seemed to be supporting spin attack… is it any black magic on the pitch?

Come On Guys dont give up we need you people to conquer lanka again…!! and show to world Indians are still the best against spin attack

i hope the indians will bounce back as they did against in australia in last australian tour.. but this habbit of losing first match is not good always….!!!
