സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വേര്‍ എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍ ആയി നടക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് വര്‍ഷം 2 കഴിഞ്ഞു .. 2 കൊല്ലം മുമ്പ് തന്നെ കമ്പനി വക ബിസിനസ്‌/വിസിറ്റിംഗ് കാര്‍ഡും കയ്യില്‍ കിട്ടി. ആദ്യം തന്ന നൂറെണ്ണം തീര്‍ക്കാന്‍ 2 കൊല്ലം കഴിഞ്ഞട്ടും എനിക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. അതിനിടക്ക് ഓഫീസ് വിശാലമായ പുതിയ അഡ്രസ്സിലേക്ക് പറിച്ചു നട്ടു. അപ്പോഴാണ്‌ ഒരു പൂതി. പുതിയ അഡ്രസ്സ് ഉള്ള ഒരു ബിസിനസ്/വിസിറ്റിംഗ് കാര്‍ഡ്‌ വേണം. അതിനും ഒരു കാരണം ഉണ്ട്. ഒരു മദാമ എന്നോട് കാര്‍ഡ്‌ ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചു (do you have a card? എന്ന് .. ചുമ്മാ ഒരു ജാടക്ക് കത്തി വെക്കാന്‍ പോയപ്പോ കാര്‍ഡ്‌ ഒരു കുരിശായി )…. എന്തായാലും കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ച ചെന്ന് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോ തന്നെ നമ്മടെ എച് ആര്‍ മാനേജര്‍ ഒരു സെറ്റ് കാര്‍ഡ്‌ റെഡി ആക്കി തന്നു. പുതിയ അഡ്രസ്സും പുതിയ ഫോണ്‍ നമ്പറും എല്ലാം ഉള്ള ഒരു സെറ്റ് കാര്‍ഡ്‌ (നൂറെണ്ണം) ബാകി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കുറച്ചു പഴേ കാര്‍ഡ്‌ എടുത്തു മാറ്റി പേഴ്സില്‍ പുതിയ കാര്‍ഡ്‌ തിരുകി കേറ്റി. .. ഇപ്പൊ അടുത്ത പ്രോബ്ലം തുടങ്ങി.. ഇതാര്‍ക് കൊടുക്കും.. പഴേ മദാമയെ ഇനി മഷി ഇട്ടു നോക്കിയാലും കാണും എന്ന് തോനണില്ല..

ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ കാര്‍ എടുത്തോണ്ട് പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങിയപ്പോഴും മനസ്സില്‍ ഇത് തന്നെയായിരുന്നു .. ഒരു കാര്‍ഡ് എങ്കിലും ആര്‍ക്കെങ്കിലും ഒന്ന് കൊടുക്കണം… ഇതും ആലോചിച്ചോണ്ട്‌ വണ്ടി ഓടിച്ചോണ്ടാണോ എന്നറിയില്ല എന്‍ എച് 47ഇല്‍ ഒരു യൂ ടേണ്‍ എടുത്തപ്പോ വണ്ടി അതാ ഒറ്റ നില്‍പ്പ്. … ഒരു പ്രൈവറ്റ് ബസും ഒരു ആന വണ്ടീം പിന്നെ കൊറേ കാറും ലോറീം മുടിഞ്ഞ ഹോണടി തുടങ്ങി. പത്തു സെക്കന്റ്‌ കൊണ്ട് എന്‍ എച് മുഴുവന്‍ ബ്ലോക്ക്‌. കൊറച്ചു പണി പെട്ടെങ്കിലും വണ്ടി ഒരു കണക്കിന് സ്റ്റാര്‍ട്ട്‌ ആക്കി അവിടുന്നു മാറ്റി.. നേരെ നമ്മടെ സ്ഥിരം വര്‍ക്ക്‌ ഷോപ്പ് ആയ കളത്തിപറമ്പന്റെ അടുത്ത് വണ്ടി എത്തിച്ചു.. (നമ്മടെ അടുത്തുള്ള ടീം ആണ് ഇതു കാറും കിടിലനായി നന്നാക്കും). ചെന്നപ്പോ അവരെല്ലാം ഭയങ്കര ബിസി .. എങ്കിലും പരിചയം കാരണം അവന്‍ വണ്ടി ഒന്ന് ഓടിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞു “പെട്രോള്‍ എഞ്ചിന്റെ ഒരു ഫയര്‍ പ്ലുഗ് പണി മുടക്കിയതാനെനു തോനുന്നു. മാറ്റേണ്ടി വരും ” .. അപ്പോഴാണ്‌ എനിക്ക് മനസ്സില്‍ ഒരു ലടു പൊട്ടിയത്.. ഉടനെ പേഴ്സില്‍ നിന്ന് കാര്‍ഡ്‌ എടുത്തു കൊടുത്തു “ഓക്കേ .. അത് മാറ്റിയിട്ടു ദെ ഈ നമ്പറില്‍ എന്നെ വിളിച്ചു പറയൂ”.. ഹോ അത് കൊടുത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോ എന്തൊരു സമാധാനം.

അങ്ങനെ മദാമക്ക് വെച്ചത് വര്‍ക്ക്‌ഷോപ്പുകാരന് കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വന്നെങ്ങിലും.. അതിന്റെ വിഷമം അവന്‍ വൈകുന്നേരം തീര്‍ത്തു തന്നു.. ആദ്യമായിട്ടാണ് ഒരാള്‍ എന്റെ ബിസിനസ്/വിസിറ്റിംഗ് കാര്‍ഡിലെ നമ്പര്‍ നോക്കി എന്നെ വിളിക്കുനത്‌.. 2 കൊല്ലം ഈ കാര്‍ഡ്‌ കൊറേ പേര്‍ക് കൊടുതെങ്ങിലും ആദ്യമായി അത് ഉപയോഗിക്കാനുള്ള യോഗം ആ മെക്കാനിക്കിന് ആയിരുന്നു… ഏകദേശം ഒരു 4 മണി ആയപ്പോ അവന്‍ എന്നെ വിളിച്ചു “സര്‍ സാന്‍ട്രോടെ ഇന്ടക്ഷന്‍ കോയില്‍ വര്‍ക്ക്‌ ആകുനില്ല.. ശെരിയാക്കാന്‍ സമയമെടുക്കും . തിങ്കളാഴ്ച തരാം” .
നാളെ ഞായറാഴ്ച ഗുരുവായൂര്‍ക് ഒരു കല്യാണത്തിന് പോകാനുള്ള പ്ലാനും അതിനു ശേഷം പറവൂര്‍ പോയി കുവൈറ്റില്‍ നിന്ന് വന്ന നമ്മടെ കസിന്‍ കൊണ്ട് വന്ന സകലമാന സാധനങ്ങളും അരിച്ചു പെറുക്കാനുള്ള പ്ലാനും എന്റെ ബിസിനസ്/വിസിറ്റിംഗ് കാര്‍ഡിന്റെ ആദ്യം ഉപയോഗം മൂലം പൊളിഞ്ഞു :(

It was a shock to here the news of Cochin Haneefa’s death.

Recently it doesnt seem to be great time for Malayalam Film Industry.. News of the Premature death of stars coming in as a shock for us . Lohithadas, Murali, Rajan P. Dev and yesterday it was Cochin Haneefa.   When i started watching films he was a comedian and “Hydrose”  wan one character that i actually remembers of him as the earliest.  later i saw many films in which he was villain and really later i realized he was a director and writer too.

A bunch of unforgettable classic comic characters his role in film meeshmadhavan, manar mathaai speaking etc were simply great.  i had a chance to meet him once. It was in the set of movie “Pulival Kalyanam” in which he was doing a character of a taxi driver.  The Movie was shot near to my house and i was there to see the stars (especialy because kavya madhavan was also coming).  It wasnt a big talk or anything.  i just got a  chance to shook his hands. That is all.

His Characters have won a great unforgettable place in malayalee’s minds. He will be remembered for long time.

Rest in Peace Cochin Haneefa.

Sir,

I’m using BSNL Telephone Connection (Connection is in the name of my father AVARACHAN K.A. ) phone Number 2######Â (Kerala Circle, Ernakulam SSA, Cusat telephone exchange ) . I’m also availing the broadband Internet facility at the same phone number.


The Telephone has been out of order for more than 3 weeks now. A Complaint regarding the non availability of the telephone service and Internet connection was made of 23rd October 2009. Complaint Number W884. The telephone department had no response for some days.

Meanwhile the LandPhone was dead and internet connection was available at rare times. It was never available when needed.

On 4th November we went to the BSNL office to inquire about why this fault is taking too much.  They were not able to give a proper reason why it is taking long time for them to fix the issue.

On 6th November we again went to the BSNL office and this time had a talk with the Assistant Engineer in charge over phone. He Promised to fix the issue within 2 days and also waiver the rent for the days when the phone wasn’t available for use.

The BSNL people were not able to fix the issue and 13th November 2009 i had gone again to the BSNL office and they were saying they cant fix the issue . they willm take another 4 days to fix it.

It is going on like they have no intentions of fixing it. I’m a software engineer and depends on internet for a lot of study on professional matters. it has been too disturbing that i cant read my mails or make a study of important matters in time over past 25 days.

I learned that lots of BSNL internet users are facing service related issues in my neighborhood . I strongly doubt if BSNL people are accepting bribes from the Private internet service providers to not fix the issues in time so that private players can cash in the anguish BSNL customers

I Hope You will take adequate steps to fix the problems and help BSNL stays with People

Guess whats wrong in above  Photograph !!!!!!

Not getting the answer?? There is no chance for a man to urinate in that!!!!…  you dont have any chance to stand in there because of the awkward positioning of the separators !!!!

You might be thinking it is in some small town.. but  belive me or not. it is from the PADMA theatre in Ernakulam (Kochi) which has spent huge money for renovation and beautification works.  everything in the theatre looks great but then this  area just proves the carelessness!!!!!

Another email forward i got today.. it was nice to read it through.. so i thought i would post it for my blog readers

A student asks a teacher, “What is love?”

The teacher said, “in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back.

“But the rule is:Â you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.”

The student went to the field, went thru the first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders….may be there is a bigger one later.

Then he saw another bigger one… but may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he knows he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.

So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, “…this is love… you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already missed the person….”
*”What is marriage then?” the student asked.

The teacher said, “in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. “But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.”

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reached the middle of the field, he picks one medium corn that he feels satisfied with, and comes back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, “this time you bring back a corn…. you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get…. this is marriage.”
