Inter Caste Marriage

Caste or Religion is not merely going to temple or church or worshiping god.. i believe it is a life style .. something that we train ourselves or our parents and the society train us from our birth onwards..

Later in life we falls in love.. sometimes love is in a very high note that we don’t even think of anything other than love…

we don’t think about our lifestyle, the other one’s life style etc..  we say “I can adjust” .. i have heard it from many people who are in love.. but i have never heard “I can adapt”

Even among the successful inter-religious married couples I haven’t  heard the words “we have adapted to a new life style.”

I fell in inter caste marriages or for that reason any marriages the most important factor is adapting to a new life style with a new life partner.

In arranged marriages the parents and elders in the family usually make sure the young couples can adjust and adapt to a new life style. With the long life experience they have got it is rare that they go wrong.

In an love marriage (not necessarily an inter caste one) usually the elders have no role. its a big gamble i would say.  it is a big gamble because not everyone understands what true love is . love is not beauty. love is not adjusting. A true love has to be  life long commitment.

Inter cast marriages can be really great if you can adapt to a new life style.. only if you are completely adaptable to new things in life. An orthodox mind can never do that however hard he/she tries.
