ബാര്‍ക്യാമ്പ്‌ .. വെള്ളമടിക്കാരുടെ ക്യാമ്പ്‌ എന്ന് ഇതു മലയാളിയും സംശയം കൂടാതെ പറയും. പക്ഷെ സത്യം അതല്ല .. ബാര്‍ക്യാമ്പില്‍ വെള്ളമടി എന്നൊരു പരിപാടിയേ ഇല്ല. ശശി തരൂര്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ച “Cattle Class” (കന്നുകാലി ക്ലാസ്സ്‌) പോലെ മറ്റൊരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വാക്കാണ്‌ “BarCamp” (ബാര്‍ക്യാമ്പ്‌ ) . കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ രംഗത്തെയും സമാന രംഗങ്ങളിലേയും തല്പര കക്ഷികളുടെ തീര്‍ത്തും സാങ്കേതികമായ ഒരു കോണ്‍ഫറന്‍സ് ആണ് ഈ സംഭവം . പങ്കെടുക്കുനവരും സംഘാടകരും എല്ലാം ഒരേ മനസ്സോടെ സാങ്കേതിക സംഭാഷണങ്ങളില്‍ [...]

BarCamp Kerala 6 @ Rajagiri

BarCamp is back in Kochi. My Old College Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kakkanad has offered itself to be the Host for BarCamp kerala 6 on the 11th of October 2009.

BarCamp is an international network of user generated conferences (or unconferences) – open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants.
